Storyboard Pro Certification Practice Exam

The Tracing Tool is designed specifically to enable users to draw directly over imported images, making it ideal for creating references and capturing details from those images. This functionality allows users to maintain accuracy in their drawings by tracing over existing artwork or photographs, which is particularly beneficial in storyboarding and animation workflows.

This tool simplifies the process of recreating complex shapes or ensuring that proportions and features are accurately represented, enhancing the quality of the storyboard or animated sequence. It facilitates a direct connection between the reference material and the user’s drawings, streamlining the creative process.

In contrast, while the Sketch Tool allows for freehand drawing, it does not have the specific functionality for tracing over images. The Drawing Pad provides a space for drawing but lacks the tracing capabilities. The Image Overlay may allow viewing imported images but does not offer a drawing mechanism directly above those images for tracing purposes.
